In the human being there is a great deal of points of concentrated and focused energy, but most important are seven centers of energy, also known as chakras. The word 'chakra' comes from sanskrit and it means “wheel”. The similarity between chakras and wheels stems from the fact that these points are like constantly spinning whirlpools of energy, force centers found in our spiritual body, by which we interchange, receive and transmit vital energies.
